PASTOR DETHOSE CHERIAN

Pastor Dethose Cherian, Senior Pastor of the Atlanta Christian Assembly, Decatur, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 5th, 2010.
Pastor Dethose Cherian was born June 1, 1938, and accepted the Lord when he was 16. He was married in 1965 and dedicated his life to the ministry in 1974. He shepherded the Abundant Life Faith Assembly in Bangalore, India, along with several other ministries. In 1991 he became the senior pastor at Atlanta Christian Assembly, the church he remained with until his death on June 5, 2010. His door was always open to his friends and congregation, and he was zealous for the Lord in all situations, even until the end of his life. His humble, praying spirit will be an inspiration to us all to finish the work the Lord started in his life.
His funeral was witnessed by a large crowd on Saturday June 12th, 2010.
His legacy remains as an inspirational testimony to us all, and he challenged us throughout his life to live in the love of God. He is survived by his wife and two children.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing”. 2 Timothy 4:7-8
